Ontario MLS statistics for September 2010
Here are the average prices for homes sold in the province of Ontario and Canada as a whole for the month of September 2010. Nationally the average price for a sold home was $331,069, a little down from September 2009. In Ontario, the average price paid for a home was $335,083, well up from the same month last year.

As you can see by the statistics, both the dollars and slaes figures are ahead of last year's pace as far as the Year to Date numbers go, however, this August was very much lower than August 2009. Only now am I appreciating what a truly tremendous Spring we had. It's very much a buyer's market now, so if you are contemplating buying, now's the time. Interest rates are very good at the moment too.
